Upgradation of public parks underway
RAWALPINDI, Jul 25 (APP):To provide an improved recreational environment for the citizens, public parks are being upgraded with maintenance and replacement of different items installed in city parks.
Director General Pakistan Harticuture Authority (PHA), Ahmad Hasan Ranjha informed that park lights, sanitation facility and public benches for visitors of various parks were being either replaced or upgrade. He said that PHA was providing the best possible facilities to the people and the families in the parks of the city.
PHA is using all resources to provide the best facilities to the people in the parks of Rawalpindi, he said. DG informed that food stalls were also being upgraded in all parks of the city. PHA is responsible for beautification of the city parks, he said adding PHA is trying to serve the people of Rawalpindi city by conducting daily activities in all public parks.
He further said that cleaning arrangements and providing quality services inside the parks were being ensured. The DG informed that installation and maintenance of parks’ lights with best qualities were underway. He assured to provide the best security environment to the females in the parks.
DG PHA has also requested the public to take responsibility for cleaning arrangements in the parks, refrain from throwing away empty wrappers and bottles in the parks. He said that proper bins were stalled in parks to be used for littering.
