LODHRAN, Jun 01 (APP):Deputy Commissioner Dr Lubna Nazir, under section 144, has imposed a ban on underage drivers and driving motorcycle without license and
helmets.
According to official sources, the DC said that legal action would be taken against the parents of underage drivers over violation.
She said the ban was immediately implemented in revenue limits across the district under section 144.
The order further includes a complete ban on operating Phatta rickshaws (locally modified passenger rickshaws).
The ban would remain in effect for 30 days within the district’s jurisdiction.
