FAISALABAD, Oct 14 (APP): University of Agriculture Faisalabad Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zulfiqar Ali highlighted the importance of sports activities for youth, stating that they are essential for a healthy life and help build sportsmanship to face future challenges. He spoke during the inaugural session of the Inter-hostel Sports Gala organized by the Female Hall Warden Office at UAF, which will continue until October 18.
Dr. Zulfiqar Ali noted that UAF is equipped with state-of-the-art modern sports facilities, from which students are benefiting. He expressed concern over the declining trend of healthy activities in society due to changing lifestyles and urged students to engage regularly in games and sports to improve their skills and health.
Chief Hall Warden Dr. Sidra Ijaz added that the sports gala features events such as tug-of-war, basketball, table tennis, chess, badminton, cricket, and more. She emphasized that the best sports facilities, including a women’s sports complex with modern amenities, are being provided to support the students.
