SUKKUR, Jan 16 (APP):In a significant diplomatic gesture, Dr. Bakheet Ateeq Al Remeithi, Consul General of the United Arab Emirates, visited the Sukkur District Council here on Thursday.
Chairman Syed Kamil Hyder Shah warmly welcomed the guest, accompanied by Vice Chairman Akhtar Ali Memon, Taqi Khan Dharejo, and other council members and officials.
During the visit, Dr. Al Remeithi participated as a special guest in the council’s meeting, which was also attended by Commissioner Sukkur, Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Commissioners, and district members. This meeting underscored the UAE’s commitment to strengthening ties with Pakistan, as evident from Dr. Al Remeithi’s previous engagements.
The Consul General’s visit to Sukkur District Council demonstrates the UAE’s interest in fostering cooperation and understanding at the grassroots level.
