UAD students showcase talent in anti-corruption painting contest

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Nov 05 (APP):The University of Agriculture Dera Ismail Khan (UAD) on Wednesday organized a painting competition as part of the ongoing Anti-Corruption week.
The event, organized following the directions of UAD Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shakeeb Ullah, was aimed to highlight the importance of honesty, transparency, and accountability through creative expression.
The students showcased their artistic talent by depicting the harmful effects of corruption and the values of integrity and fairness. Judges praised the participants for their creativity, originality, and powerful visual messages promoting ethical conduct.
The event was attended by Principal Staff Officer Sheraz Ahmad Mughal, Director Administration Farjad Sikandar Sadozai, Director Student Affairs Muhammad Zeshan Khan, and Assistant Registrar Zaib-ul-Qamar. They lauded the efforts of the students, noting that such activities play an important role in developing responsible and value-driven future leaders.
In his message, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shakeeb Ullah said that the fight against corruption must be led by educated youth.
He urged upon the students to make honesty, transparency, and hard work the guiding principles of their lives to help build a corruption-free society.
According to the university administration, various activities including seminars, awareness walks, essay writing, and speech competitions, are being organized throughout Anti-Corruption Week to promote a culture of integrity and good governance.
