Two suspects arrested for killing youth in Badami Bagh
LAHORE,Sept 13 (APP):Badami Bagh police have arrested two suspects allegedly involved in the killing of a youth during a firing incident in the area,here on Sunday.
According to a spokesperson for DIG Operations,the suspects riding a motorcycle opened fire, killing Farman(23) and injuring his friend Badshah.
The police registered a case on the complaint of the victim’s brother and launched an investigation.
SHO Badami Bagh and his team subsequently arrested two suspects during a timely operation.
Preliminary investigations indicated that the incident occurred over a marriage dispute while further investigation was underway.
The spokesperson said raids were being conducted to arrest other suspects nominated in the case.
The arrested suspects had been handed over to the investigation police for further interrogation and legal proceedings.
DIG Operations,Faisal Kamran said indiscriminate action against criminal elements was continuing to protect the lives and property of citizens.
He said those involved in firing incidents and serious crimes would not be given any concession and would be brought to justice in accordance with the law.
