SIALKOT, Feb 10 (APP):The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) sealed two milk shops in Kotli Loharan after laboratory tests found milk samples deficient in fat content and below prescribed standards.
According to the PFA spokesperson here on Tuesday, the action was taken by the Dairy Safety Team on the directions of the Director General following raids and sampling in the area. He said strict monitoring and continuous sampling were underway, especially ahead of Ramazan, with teams working in three shifts.
He reiterated that adulteration would not be tolerated and vowed to ensure the supply of pure milk and quality food items to the public.
