SUKKUR, Sep 23 (APP):Senior Superintendent Police (SSP), Shikarpur Muhammad Kaleem Malik on Wednesday said that the killing of two men near Rustam has no connection with the ongoing Mahar-Jatoi tribal dispute, describing the incident as a clash between two alleged criminals over the distribution of money obtained through criminal activities.
Talking to media, he stated that the two deceased were identified as Murtaza alias Murto Mahar and Hazaro Saad Khanani Jatoi.
SSP Kaleem Malik highlighted that the two men were allegedly involved in criminal activities and many cases have been registered against them.
He said preliminary information indicated that the classes both of them were happened over the distribution of money allegedly obtained through a robbery, in a result both were killed each other.
Police are continuing their investigation to determine the exact circumstances and motive behind the killings, he concluded.
