LAHORE, Nov 15 (APP): On Saturday, Islampura police successfully apprehended two members of an organized motorcycle theft gang.
One of the accused, identified as Usman, was involved in stealing motorcycles, which he would then dismantle at his house. His accomplice, Muhammad Ali, would purchase the stolen parts and sell them at inflated prices.
The police acted on a tip-off that the two suspects were stealing unlocked motorcycles from various areas of Lahore and dismantling them for resale.
During a raid, authorities recovered parts from three different motorcycles, along with weapons, from the suspects’ possession. The accused tried to flee upon seeing the police, but quick thinking and strategic action from the officers led to their immediate arrest.
The police have registered cases against the duo, and investigations are ongoing.
