PESHAWAR, Jan 07 (APP):At least two people were shot dead by unidentified assailants near Jinnah Park here on Wednesday, police said.
Police said, the incident took place near Jinnah Park, in front of Qila Bala Hisar where unknown attackers opened fire, killing two men on the spot.
After the incident, police reached the scene and shifted the bodies to Lady Reading Hospital for medico-legal formalities. An investigation has been launched to ascertain the identity of the deceased and motive behind the killing. Further details are availed.
