Two inter-district kite dealers arrested
LAHORE, Sep 26 (APP):Harbanspura police on Saturday arrested two alleged inter-district kite dealers and foiled an attempt to supply kites and kite strings in the city.
According to police,the accused,identified as Kashif and Waqas, were arrested while allegedly transporting kites on a rickshaw.
Police said 500 kites and 10 spinning wheels,collectively worth hundreds of thousands of rupees were recovered from their possession.
The arrested suspects allegedly confessed to supplying kites and kite strings in different districts through locations shared online,police said.
Police added that intelligence-based operations were underway to arrest other accomplices involved in the illegal trade.
