LAHORE, Jan 06 (APP):A model court on Tuesday sentenced two accused to life imprisonment and imposed fines of Rs.500,000 each in a murder case involving the killing of a factory owner during a robbery attempt in Mochi Gate.
Model Court Judge Riaz Ahmed announced the verdict after completion of the trial. During the proceeding, Prosecutor Habib-ur-Rehman presented 17 witnesses to prove the charges against the accused.
According to the prosecution, the convicted, Saad and Sameer, were employees at the victim’s factory. They attempted to snatch money from the factory owner and, during the incident, fatally stabbed Sheikh Ehsan with a knife.
