FAISALABAD, Jul 24 (APP):Two dacoits were killed while their two accomplices fled away after an encounter in the area of City Tandlianwala police station.
Police Spokesman Talish Jatt said on Wednesday that four bandits on three motorcycles
looted a citizen and escaped. On information, the police chased the outlaws. The police directed criminals for surrender near Faisal Town but they opened fire at the officials.
In an encounter, two dacoits died instantly due to firing of their accomplices who, later on,
escaped.
The accused were identified as Sajid and Anwaar-ul-Haq who were wanted to the police
in a number of cases. A police team was constituted for the arrest of the accused while further investigation
was underway, the spokesman added.
