Traffic Warden recovers stolen motorcycle

RAWALPINDI, Nov 08 (APP): A senior traffic warden of City Traffic Police (CTP) Rawalpindi recovered a stolen motorcycle during routine duty here on Saturday.
According to CTP spokesman, Traffic Warden stopped a motorcyclist for violating traffic rules.
Upon being asked to present vehicle documents, the rider failed to produce them.
A record check later revealed that the motorcycle had been reported stolen in a case registered at Waris Khan Police Station.
The motorcyclist, along with the recovered motorcycle, was handed over to Waris Khan Police for further investigation.
Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Farhan Aslam appreciated traffic warden for showing dedication during duty and announced a cash reward in recognition of his commendable performance.
CTO Farhan Aslam said that traffic wardens are not only ensuring smooth traffic flow but also playing an active role in protecting the lives and property of citizens.
