KARACHI, Nov 03 (APP):The Karachi Trafic Police have announced traffic diversion plan for four day Pakistan Maritime International Expo & Conference (PIMEC-2025), inaugurated here on Monday (November 3). The event to be held from Nov 3 to 6 at Expo Centre located in Gulshan e Iqbal area of the Metropolis.
According to traffic plan, diversions, alternative routes and filter points for heavy traffic have been set up across key areas, including Karsaz, Millennium Mall, NIPA Chowrangi,New Town and Liaquatabad.
Heavy and commercial vehicles coming from Shahra-e- Faisal towards the National Stadium through Habib I Rahim Rehmatullah Road and Sir Shah Suleman Road will not be permitted. Citizens coming from Karsaz and Deigh Road,were advised to use Rashid Minhas Road via Millennium Mall and NIPA.
Heavy traffic from Rashid Minhas Road will not be allowed to use Dalmia Road towards the Stadium. Instead,traffic may be diverted via NIPA, Askri IV, or Drigh Road towards Shahra-e-Faisal while heavy traffic from NIPA Chowrangi to Hassan Square will not be permitted. Vehicles may instead take the NIPA- Gulshan Chowrangi- Sohrab Goth or NIPA- Rashid Minhas, Millennium Mall- Drigh Road routes. The heavy traffic from New Town and adjoining areas will be diverted towards Shaheed e Millat Road via Baloch bridge. The heavy traffic will not be allowed from Liaquatabad No.10 to Hassan Square via Sir Suleman Road and it has been advised to use Shahra-e-Pakistan via Karimabad towards Sohrab Goth.
