Timely redressal of complaints is top priority: MD WASA

LAHORE, Oct 28 (APP):In line with Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s vision of efficient public service delivery, the Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Lahore continues to serve citizens with dedication and commitment.
A review meeting of the Complaint Management System was held under the chairmanship of Managing Director WASA, Ghaffran Ahmad. Directors Operations and Executive Engineers (XENs) from all towns participated in the session.
The meeting reviewed the registration, resolution, and feedback of public complaints during the week. The MD WASA directed all town-level officers to ensure timely resolution of all complaints. He instructed officials to personally verify all feedback to guarantee the quality of service. Emphasizing cleanliness, he ordered the complete cleaning of roadside drains across all towns and directed that desilting of all drains be carried out thoroughly from downstream to upstream. “Timely redressal of public complaints is WASA Lahore’s top priority,” stated MD Ghaffar Ahmad.
He also instructed that the pace of work on all development projects be further accelerated and emphasized taking special preventive measures against dengue. Moreover, he directed that anti-smog water sprinkling operations continue on all major roads of the city.
