Three outlaws, including wanted Afghan terrorist, killed in Wah Saddar shootout

RAWALPINDI, Oct 08 (APP):Three outlaws, including a most-wanted Afghan terrorist, were killed while another was arrested in an injured condition after an exchange of fire with a joint team of Rawalpindi and Peshawar police in a private housing society in Wah Saddar on Tuesday night.
According to a Rawalpindi Police spokesman, the suspects opened fire on the police team during the operation, prompting retaliation in which the wanted terrorist and two accomplices were killed, while one was injured and taken into custody.
The terrorist who was killed was identified as Adam Khan, an Afghan, national involved in several terrorism-related cases, who had also prepared fake Pakistani identity documents. His two accomplices, also killed in the encounter, were identified as Muhammad and Mujahid Afghani, while the injured suspect was identified as Noor Rehmat.
Senior police officers reached the scene to collect evidence, while the bodies and the injured accused were shifted to hospital. Police cordoned off the area and enhanced checking to maintain security.
City Police Officer (CPO) Syed Khalid Hamdani lauded the bravery of the Rawalpindi and Peshawar police teams, saying that those who attack citizens or the police would not escape the law.
