RAWALPINDI, Jul 16 (APP):Security forces on Wednesday killed three Indian-sponsored terrorists in an intelligence-based operation in Awaran District following reports of their presence while Major Syed Rabnawaz Tariq embraced martyrdom during the intense exchange of fire.
“During the conduct of the operation, own troops effectively engaged the terrorist location, and as a result, three Indian-sponsored terrorists were sent to hell,” said a news release issued by Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) here.
“However, during the intense fire exchange, Major Syed Rabnawaz Tariq (age: 34 years, resident of District Muzaffarabad), a brave officer who was leading his troops from the front, fought gallantly and made the ultimate sacrifice,” it further said.
A sanitization operation is underway to eliminate any remaining terrorists in the area, as the security forces of Pakistan remain determined to wipe out the menace of Indian Sponsored Terrorism from the country and such sacrifices of our brave men further strengthen our resolve.
