Three hostages recovered in Rangers operation against dacoits in Katcha areas

KARACHI, Jun 27 (APP): In a major breakthrough, Pakistan Rangers Sindh and Sindh Police successfully recovered three kidnapped individuals during a joint intelligence-based operation in the riverine (katcha) area of Chak Rustam Teghani, located in Taluka Khanpur, district Shikarpur.
According to the spokesperson for Pakistan Rangers Sindh on Friday, the operation was launched based on precise intelligence regarding the presence of dacoits and criminal elements holding hostages in the area. The three citizens Ghulam Rasool Mahar, Habdar Solangi, and Sardar Solangi had been abducted on June 15th.
During the targeted operation, the abductors fled the scene, leaving the hostages behind. All three individuals were safely recovered. A search operation is currently underway to track down the fleeing criminals, with security forces cordoning off the area and establishing checkpoints at various locations.
Rangers has appealed to the public to identify those sheltering criminals or facilitating such elements.
