Dera Ismail Khan , Nov 01 (APP):The Cantonment Police recovered a total of 2,090 grams of crystal meth (Ice) and arrested three alleged drug peddlers during separate operations conducted in different areas of the city.
According to police, on the direction of the District Police Officer Dera Sajjad Ahmed Sahibzada, the operations were carried out under the supervision of DSP City Circle Hafiz Muhammad Adnan, while SHO Cantonment Police Station Arslan Khan Gandapur led the teams during the raids.
The police conducted actions near Eidgah, Insaaf Park on Dyal Road, and Basti Mehhir, where three suspects were arrested and narcotics were seized from their possession.
The arrested accused were identified as Muzzammil Qureshi, resident of Eidgah; Sohail Baber, resident of Naqshband Colony; and Sultan Kanera, resident of Himmat.
Police said separate cases had been registered against the accused under the relevant laws, while further investigation was underway.
