HYDERABAD, Nov 20 (APP):The three-day official celebrations of the 754th annual Urs of renowned Sufi saint Syed Asghar Ali Shah, popularly known as Sakhhi Jam Datar, concluded on Thursday with a Sufi musical program and a traditional Sughhar Kachheri. On the final day, the district administration of Shaheed Benazirabad and the Department of Culture organized a Sughhar Conference and a musical evening. Commissioner Shaheed Benazirabad Division Shahmeer Khan Bhutto, DIG Police Faisal Bashir Memon, and Deputy Commissioner Abdul Samad Nizamani attended the event as special guests.
Well-known Sindhi artists Ahmed Mughal, Farzana Bahar, Faqeer Barkat Jamal and several other local performers presented soulful renditions that received great appreciation from the audience. Poet Sughhar Ali Gul Bhatti and other traditional poets recited Nar Beit, adding a cultural charm to the gathering.
Among the attendees were SSP Shaheed Benazirabad Shabbir Ahmed Sethar, Director Information Muhammad Moosa Gondal, Commissioner Municipal Corporation Abdul Razzaq Sheikh, Assistant Commissioner Daur Muhammad Zakir, Information Officer Aijaz Ali Teevino, Mukhtiarkar Daur Owais Jatoi, Sajjada Nashin of the shrine Faqeer Naveed Hussain Wistro, Vice Chairman District Council Abdul Rasool Brohi, Chairman Town Committee Abdullah Shar, Sherbaz Mari, Aijaz Halipota, Town Officer Muhammad Saleh Zardari, officers from various departments, devotees, and local residents who participated in large numbers.
