MUZAFFARGARH, Jan 16 (APP):Locals subjected a thief to torture after catching him red handed near girls college road here on Wednesday.
Police said that accused Shahbaz Baloch, resident of Kandhi Balochan, escaped the scene after snatching motorbike from a passerby at mohalla Bukhari Wala.While fleeing, the two-wheeler slipped and he tried to escape on foot.
However, residents of the area quickly gathered and subjected the suspect to severe physical punishment before handing him over to the police concerned.
The accused was wanted by police in number of theft cases,said police
Further investigation was underway.
