LAHORE, Jun 01 (APP):The Punjab Home Department has banned temporary mechanical swings during Eid-ul-Azha.
Punjab Home Department sources said that it has issued instructions to the deputy commissioners across the province. Fitness certificates have been made mandatory for temporarily installed mechanical swings in amusement parks.
Furthermore, sources said that fitness certificates would also be mandatory for permanently installed mechanical swings in amusement parks across Punjab and owners or operators of permanently installed mechanical swings should obtain fitness certificates from the deputy commissioners.
After district administration verification, each mechanical swing will meet the necessary safety standards. They said that permanently installed swings, for which all security protocols are being followed, have not been banned.
