Temporary appointments to be made soon for activating remaining schools: CS Shakeel

QUETTA, Jan 01 (APP):Balochistan Chief Secretary (CS) Shakeel Qadir Khan on Thursday said that temporary appointments in education department should be made soon for activating of remaining inactive schools.
He said this while holding a conference of Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners.
In the meeting, important decisions were taken on temporary appointments in the Education and Health Departments across the province, resolution of urgent issues in public open courts, full implementation of price control, ban on plastic bags, timely completion of ongoing development projects and their positive projection through social media.
The meeting was attended by Additional Chief Secretary Home Muhammad Hamza Shafqat, Additional Chief Secretary Development Zahid Saleem, Secretary S&GAD Syed Faisal Ahmed, Secretary Information Imran Khan, Secretary Education (Schools) Asfandyar Khan, while Divisional Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners via video link.
The meeting reviewed a comprehensive strategy to ensure public welfare and development of the province.
He directed that all Divisional Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners should hold regular open courts, where immediate solutions to the problems of the people such as water, electricity, health and education should be provided.
He said that it is our responsibility to provide relief to the people, open courts are the best means of fulfilling this responsibility.
He issued strict instructions regarding price control and said that the prices of food items should be monitored and artificial prices should not be allowed to operate in the markets.
The concerned officers were directed to make price control committees active and intensify actions against inflation.
