ISLAMABAD, Nov 18 (APP):The Black Hole, a non-profit organization working to promote reading culture and arts, on Tuesday hosted an Eastern Classical Vocal Training session aimed at highlighting the timeless beauty of Raag Yaman.
Music enthusiasts had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the rich tradition of Eastern classical music as renowned vocalist Faisal Ali led Session 87 of the Eastern Classical Vocal Training series, focusing on the celebrated Raag Yaman.
The session aimed to introduce participants to the melodic structure, tonal nuances, and emotional depth of Raag Yaman — one of the most cherished and foundational raags in Indian classical music.
Designed for both beginners and seasoned practitioners, the training guided attendees through essential vocal techniques, characteristic patterns, and performance practices associated with the raag.
Faisal Ali, known for his classical expertise and engaging teaching style, offered step-by-step instruction to help singers enhance their vocal expression and understand the raag’s traditional framework.
The session was free and open to the public, encouraging music lovers of all ages to take part. A large number of music enthusiasts were in attendance.
