TAXILA, Jan 1 (APP):Taxila police have arrested a drug supplier on Thursday and recovered six kilograms of hashish from his possession as part of ongoing operations against narcotics.
According to APP correspondent, the arrested suspect has a criminal record, with previous involvement in serious offences including murder, attempted murder, theft, and arms cases.
The accused was taken into custody during a targeted operation, and a case has been registered against him under relevant sections of the law.
Further investigation is underway to identify his network and possible links with other drug peddlers.
SP Potohar Talha Wali emphasized that eliminating the menace of drugs remains a top priority for the police. “Strict and indiscriminate action against drug dealers will continue to protect the youth and society from the devastating effects of narcotics,” he added.
The police department is committed to continuing its crackdown on drug suppliers and protecting the community from the harmful effects of narcotics.
