Taxila Police bust 4-member ‘Bali Gang’; 12 motorcycles, 22 phones recovered

RAWALPINDI, Nov 21 (APP):The Taxila Police have arrested a four-member gang allegedly involved in robberies and bike thefts, recovering 12 stolen and snatched motorcycles, 22 mobile phones worth hundreds of thousands of rupees, Rs100,000 in cash and weapons.
A spokesman for the Rawalpindi Police said on Friday that the arrests were made after the police used technical and human intelligence to track down the suspects, commonly known as the ‘Bali Gang’. The recoveries were made on the basis of the suspects’ disclosure and identification during the investigation.
According to the spokesman, the gang members also admitted involvement in more than 25 robberies across various districts. He added that the group had a prior history of robberies, thefts and illegal weapons cases registered against them in the twin cities.
Superintendent of Police Potohar Talha Wali said the suspects would be sent to court with solid evidence to ensure effective prosecution. He added that the Rawalpindi Police would continue action against criminal elements in the district.
