Tarbela Dam spillways opened as water level rises

PESHAWAR, Sep 04 (APP): The spillways of Tarbela Dam have been opened as water levels continue to rise.

After the opening of spillways on Thursday, the total water discharge from the dam has reached 250,000 cusecs.

The administration has urged the public to avoid visiting riverbanks and bridges, and to strictly follow precautionary measures for their safety.
