SARGODHA, Jul 18 (APP):The Sargodha Waste Management Company (SWMC), led by Chief Executive Officer Rana Shahid Imran, has initiated a joint operation with the Municipal Corporation to ensure the swift drainage of rainwater and citywide cleanliness here on Friday.
Following a heavy downpour of 57 millimeters on Friday afternoon,the CEO Rana Shahid Imran personally supervised the on-ground operation, coordinating with teams across the city.
The commissioner directed the all concerned officers and field staff to remain deployed until further notice, ensuring uninterrupted drainage and cleaning efforts to restore urban services and minimize inconvenience to citizens.
CEO SWMC Rana Shahid Imran said that teams are actively operating across various union councils and ensuring that no area remains waterlogged. Machinery, sanitation workers, and supervisors from SWMC are utilizing all available resources to provide immediate relief to residents,he said. Rana Shahid Imran reiterated his commitment to interdepartmental cooperation, stating that, “All departments are working together to tackle this challenge. Our goal is to deliver prompt and effective relief to the people of Sargodha.” He stressed that field operations would continue until all drainage and cleanup work is fully completed.
