DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Jul 29 (APP):South Waziristan Upper Deputy Commissioner Asmat Ullah Wazir chaired a meeting of the District Steering Committee (DSC) to assess progress in the health sector.
During the meeting, the implementation of over the decisions made in previous sessions was also reviewed.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioners (General and Finance & Planning), Assistant Commissioners of Ladha and Sarwekai, Additional Assistant Commissioner Sarwekai, the District Health Officer, IMU field staff, and representatives from the Communication and Works Department and Pakistan Red Crescent Society.
During the session, the deputy commissioner emphasized the need for effective coordination among departments and directed all the authorities concerned to ensure the timely execution of all agreed-upon actions.
He stressed that improving healthcare services and delivering timely medical assistance to the public must remain a top priority.
