Suthra Punjab MD reviews sanitation operations in Taxila
WAH CANTT, Aug 24 (APP):Managing Director Suthra Punjab Agency Rawalpindi Rana Sajid Safdar on Monday conducted a detailed inspection of sanitation operations in Taxila, reviewing ongoing cleanliness drives, drain desilting, waste collection and disposal arrangements, as well as the attendance and field presence of sanitation workers.
During the visit, the MD inspected Khanpur Bypass, Margalla, the dumping site at Mohra Shah Wali Shah, TCP facilities at Garhi Sikandar, Union Council 118 in Garhi Afghan, Sarai Khola, the Ratta Shah-Taxila section of the GT Road and Dongi Gali. He reviewed cleanliness conditions in different beats, checked workers’ attendance and presence, examined waste-lifting arrangements and inspected the management of the dumping site.
Officials briefed Rana Sajid Safdar on various aspects of sanitation operations, including deployment of workers, waste collection, drain desilting, TCP arrangements and dumping-site management. The MD also inspected desilting work and cleanliness operations along roads and streets and reviewed garbage removal and waste-lifting activities.
Rana Sajid Safdar directed the concerned officials to ensure effective sanitation services and improve cleanliness standards in both urban and rural areas, stressing that negligence in field operations would not be tolerated. He also met sanitation workers, checked their attendance and presence in assigned beats and directed them to perform their duties with responsibility, diligence and commitment.
