SARGODHA, Oct 13 (APP): Commissioner Sargodha Jahanzeb Awan chaired a meeting and reviewed the survey of flood-affected areas in Tehsil Kot Momin on Monday.
According to official sources, the meeting was informed that the survey of 26, out of 41 affected villages had been completed, while the remaining areas were expected to be covered within the current week.
The meeting was briefed that a total of 25 teams had conducted 4,835 surveys, identifying 1,731 damaged houses, including 58 completely destroyed and 724 partially damaged ‘pucca’ houses, and 213 completely destroyed and 732 partially damaged ‘kacha’ houses.
A total of 10,093 acres of land had been surveyed, and reports on livestock losses had also been submitted.
The Commissioner emphasized the importance of conducting the survey in a transparent, organized, and timely manner to facilitate the rehabilitation of affected families.
He directed the teams to ensure that no affected household was left out and that all departments work together to prepare accurate reports.
ADCR Fahd Mehmood, ACR Malik Muhammad Ashraf, Assistant Commissioner Kot Momin Faisal Cheema and officers from PDMA, Agriculture and Livestock were also present in the meeting.
