HYDERABAD, Jul 21 (APP): Under the patronage of District Sports Officer Hyderabad Maryam Keeriyo and in collaboration with Sports and Youth Welfare Department, summer athletic and fitness coaching camp was organized by Hyderabad Division Athletic association here at Sindh Agriculture University Tando Jam.
The camp started on July 15, 2025 and will continue till July 25, 2025. According to President Hyderabad Division Athletic Association Syed Muhammad Nadeem, a large number of boys and girls from the districts adjoining Hyderabad region are participating in the camp.
Former international and national level players and coaches SM Nadeem, Asif Rashid, Khalida Naz, Nawaz Khan, Muhammad Haroon and Rizwana Wasim are providing practical training in basic techniques, skills and bio mechanics to the participating athletes in the camp.
District Sports Officer Maryam Kerio met with President Athletic Association Syed Muhammad Nadeem during the camp and assured all possible support for organizing such training camps in the future.
Asif Arain, Secretary Hyderabad Division Athletic Association was also present at the meeting.
Maryam Kerio termed this initiative important for the physical and intellectual development of the youth and said that such camps not only improve the skills of the players but also prepare them for representation at the national and international levels.
