SUKKUR, Oct 27 (APP):The people of Sukkur District on Monday observed Black Day to express solidarity with their Kashmiri brothers and sisters, mirroring the rest of the country. The District Administration Sukkur organized a rally to condemn the ongoing oppression, tyranny, and human rights violations in Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The rally, led by Additional Deputy Commissioner Sukkur-II, Bushra Mansoor, began at the Municipal Stadium Sukkur and concluded at the Press Club Sukkur. A large number of teachers, students, lawyers, political and social activists, and citizens participated in the rally, holding banners and placards inscribed with slogans expressing solidarity with the Kashmiri people and condemning Indian atrocities.
In her address, Bushra Mansoor emphasized that the observance of “Black Day” aims to express solidarity with the people of Kashmir and support their struggle for the right to self-determination. She reaffirmed that the people of Pakistan stand firmly with their Kashmiri brothers and sisters until they achieve their right to self-determination.
The ADC urged the international community to ensure that the people of Kashmir are granted the right to decide their own future, in accordance with the United Nations resolutions. She concluded by reiterating that the people and government of Pakistan will continue to extend political, diplomatic, and moral support to the Kashmiri people until the freedom of Kashmir is achieved.
