ISLAMABAD, Nov 05 (APP):Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police’s Tarnol police station team, in collaboration with the Homicide Investigation Unit (HIU), arrested two suspects involved in the murder of a man in the jurisdiction of Tarnol police station.
An official told APP on Wednesday that the arrested accused include the victim’s son, Suleman Khan alias Jabar Khan, and his accomplice Abdullah, who were wanted for killing his father, Hayat Khan, by opening fire with a pistol.
He said police teams used advanced technical tools and scientific investigation methods to trace and arrest the culprits. The murder weapon a pistol was also recovered during the operation.
Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Muhammad Jawad Tariq said that the suspects will be challaned in court based on solid evidence to ensure exemplary punishment.
He reaffirmed that Islamabad Police remains committed to taking strict action against those involved in heinous crimes, ensuring the safety and protection of citizens’ lives and property in the federal capital.
