QUETTA, Oct 21 (APP):The meeting of the Standing Committee on the Rules of Procedure of the Balochistan Assembly was held under the chairmanship of Chairman Mir Asadullah Baloch.
The meeting was attended by Speaker Balochistan Assembly Captain (retd) Abdul Khaliq Khan Achakzai, Khair Jan Baloch, Shahida Rauf, Mir Younis Aziz Zehri, Dr. Muhammad Nawaz Kabzai, Zabid Ali Reiki, Saleem Ahmed Khosa, Secretary Assembly Tahir Shah Kakar, Special Secretary Abdul Rehman and Additional Secretary Law Department Saeed Iqbal.
The meeting discussed in detail the proposed amendments to the Rules of Procedure of the Balochistan Assembly Act 1974.
At the end of the meeting, Chairman Mir Asadullah Baloch said that these amendments to the rules would make the assembly discipline, transparent legislation and institutional performance more effective.
Another meeting of the committee would be held soon for further discussion.
