ISLAMABAD, Dec 25 (APP):Islamabad Police have put in place foolproof security arrangements for Christmas, with Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Qazi Ali Raza personally monitoring field deployments and reviewing security measures at churches across the federal capital.
An official told APP on Thursday that SSP Operations Qazi Ali Raza visited various churches in different parts of the city, where he inspected security arrangements and met with church administrations to ensure smooth and peaceful celebrations.
During the visits, the SSP Qazi reviewed deployment of police personnel, access control measures and overall preparedness, and directed officers to remain vigilant and proactive. He emphasized that Islamabad Police are ensuring protection for followers of all religions without discrimination.
SSP Qazi said that the safety of citizens’ lives and property remained the top priority of Islamabad Police, particularly during religious events and public gatherings. He urged church administrations and participants to cooperate with police during security checks to avoid any inconvenience.
He reiterated that ICT Police stand for peace, tolerance and religious harmony, and would continue to remain fully alert to ensure that Christmas celebrations are held in a secure and peaceful environment across the capital./
