RAWALPINDI, Jan 28 (APP):Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Malik Tariq Mehboob on Wednesday paid a surprise visit to the Khidmat Markaz at Liaquat Bagh and inspected the Waris Khan and city police stations to review service delivery and administrative matters.
During the visit to the Khidmat Markaz, the SSP reviewed facilities being provided to citizens and issued instructions to further improve public facilitation. The in-charge of the centre briefed him in detail on its working and service mechanisms.
Inspecting Waris Khan and City police stations, Malik Tariq Mehboob examined under-investigation cases, police station record, lock-ups and other operational affairs, and issued directions for ensuring transparency and efficiency.
Speaking on the occasion, the SSP said all possible steps were being taken to improve public facilitation and service delivery.
He said that in line with the vision of Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr Usman Anwar, timely redress of public complaints and efficient service delivery remained the top priority, adding that strict compliance would be ensured at all times.
A spokesperson for the Rawalpindi Police said such surprise inspections would continue to enhance performance and accountability at police facilities.
