ISLAMABAD, Nov 25 (APP):Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Investigation Islamabad Muhammad Usman Tariq Butt and SSP Security Captain (R) Zeeshan Haider visited multiple locations on Tuesday to review security arrangements as part of Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police’s ongoing efforts to maintain peace and order.
An official told APP that during the field visits, both senior officers inspected security posts, reviewed deployment, and evaluated the efficiency of on-ground teams. They met police personnel performing duty and assessed their preparedness, response measures, and adherence to the security plan.
He said the officers issued directions to ensure enhanced vigilance, effective checking of suspicious individuals and vehicles, and strict compliance with standard operating procedures to maintain law and order in the federal capital.
The official added that SSP Usman Tariq Butt and SSP Captain (R) Zeeshan Haider emphasized the importance of alertness, strong coordination, and timely reporting of any unusual activity. They reiterated that the protection of citizens’ lives and property remains the top priority of Islamabad Police.
He said both officers instructed all deployed staff to perform duties with professionalism, discipline, and courtesy, ensuring that no lapse occurs in security arrangements.
