ISLAMABAD, Oct 21 (APP):Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Investigation/Operations, Muhammad Usman Tariq Butt, paid surprise visits to Bhara Kahu and Phulgran police stations to review performance and facilities.
An official told APP on Tuesday that during the visits, the SSP Butt inspected police station records, checked the front desk, and reviewed the data of under-trial detainees in lockups. He also interacted with citizens present at the stations, listened to their grievances, and directed officers to ensure their prompt redressal.
The SSP emphasized that courteous behavior with complainants must be maintained at all times, warning that misconduct or inappropriate attitude—especially towards senior citizens, women, and children would not be tolerated.
He further instructed that strict action should be taken against criminals, patrolling must be made more effective and purposeful, and officers must remain actively present in the field to enhance security and strengthen public confidence in the police.
