SUKKUR, Jan 01 (APP):Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ghotki Mir Anwar Khan Khetran on Thursday extended heartfelt New Year 2026 greetings to the nation, expressing hope that 2026 will be a year of peace, progress and prosperity for Pakistan.
SSP Mir Anwar Khan Khetran said air firing is not only a violation of law but also poses serious risks to human lives. Special police teams have been formed for patrolling around the day and night. They will patrol and take prompt action against elements involved in social evils, he warned.
He appealed to parents, community elders and youth to respect the law, adding that police are always present to serve and protect the public, and no one will be allowed to take law into their own hands.
