ISLAMABAD, Apr 01 (APP):Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) Saud Khan delivered a special briefing to CTD officers, highlighting professional responsibilities, evolving security challenges, and effective operational strategies.
An official told APP on Wednesday that the SSP Saud provided detailed guidance to officers on meeting modern policing requirements and enhancing operational preparedness.
He said regular classes at the “Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT)” School had formally commenced for officers, with training courses designed in line with international standards.
The official said the initiative aimed to further strengthen officers’ professional skills, improve effective use of modern weapons, and enhance their capacity to respond to emergency situations.
He added that the training would play a key role in equipping CTD personnel with advanced tactical capabilities required to deal with complex security challenges.
