SRSP team visits Food Technology Lab at ARI DIKhan
Dera Ismail Khan , Sep 26 (APP):A delegation of the Sarhad Rural Support Programme (SRSP), led by Value Chain Officer Asad Abbas, visited the Food Technology Lab of Agriculture Research Institute (ARI), Dera Ismail Khan, to explore opportunities for collaboration in value-chain development and grower training.
Admin Officer Asad Qayum accompanied the delegation during the visit.
Principal Research Officer and Head of Food Technology Lab Dr. Shahzada Arshad Saleem briefed the delegation on value-chain development, grower training, food processing and the development of value-added products.
The delegation also visited the laboratory’s display room and appreciated the value-added products developed by the Food Technology Lab.
The visit also featured discussions on future collaboration and practical training programmes for growers to promote food processing and value addition in the agricultural sector.
