SUKKUR, Oct 25 (APP):The Sindh Rural Support Organization (SRSO) re-transferred the productive assets-livestock in the replacement of the Death Claims Policy to the nine beneficiaries of ultra-poor families under the National Poverty Graduation Programmer (NPGP), a flagship program of the Government of Pakistan and International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), implemented by Sindh Rural Support Organization (SRSO).
According to Spokesperson SRSO, Jamil Ahmed on Wednesday, under the Livestock Death Claim Policy of the SRSO’s Micro Health Insurance, all transferred livestock to the BISP beneficiary’s families of the NPGP are insured in both covering districts i.e Shikarpur and Kashmore- Kandhkot.
It aimed to secure the livelihood source of the NPGP’s ultra-poor families from the shock of livestock death.
