HYDERABAD, Oct 21 (APP):Sports Championship 2025 at Cadet College Petaro kicked off in a colorful opening ceremony. The event was formally inaugurated by the Divisional Commissioner Hyderabad Fayyaz Hussain Abbasi and Principal of Cadet College Petaro Commodore Faisal Iqbal Qazi, SI(M).
During the ceremony, cadets presented a spectacular march past and displayed their athletic skills representing various sports disciplines. On the occasion, Principal Commodore Faisal Iqbal Qazi SI(M) highlighted the importance of hard work, discipline and teamwork among students, while the chief guest, Commissioner Fayyaz Hussain Abbasi, appreciated the growing interest of youth in sports activities.
The championship will continue for four days, featuring teams from various cadet colleges including Cadet College Jamshoro, Cadet College Karachi, Cadet College Sanghar and Sargodhian Trust Public School Rashidabad.
Exciting competitions are being held in athletics, football, volleyball, cricket, hockey and other sports, where cadets are showcasing their energy, sportsmanship and talent.
At the end of the ceremony, Commissioner Hyderabad Fayyaz Hussain Abbasi and Principal Commodore Faisal Iqbal Qazi distributed prizes among outstanding players and expressed hope that such events would promote healthy activities and a spirit of teamwork among students.
