PESHAWAR, Oct 28 (APP):Speaker Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, Babar Saleem Swati, attended a cake-cutting ceremony held in connection with the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji at the Provincial Assembly.
The event was organized by MPA Gurpal Singh and attended by minority representatives from across the province. The ceremony highlighted the spirit of interfaith harmony, tolerance, and mutual respect among all communities.
In his remarks, Speaker Babar Saleem Swati said that minorities are an integral and respected part of Pakistan’s federation, particularly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He reaffirmed the government and assembly’s commitment to ensuring the protection of their rights, religious freedom, and equal opportunities.
The Speaker congratulated MPA Gurpal Singh for organizing the meaningful event and extended warm greetings to all participants on the auspicious occasion of Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s birth anniversary.
