LARKANA, Jan 01 (APP):A delegation of foreign tourists from Spain arrived at the ancient site of MoenJo Daro in Larkana to celebrate the New Year of 2026 on Thursday. The Spanish delegation enjoyed themselves dancing at the Rest House of Moen Jo Daro.
The foreign delegation toured and saw the ancient remains, including the Stupa, Great Bath, DK Area, and the museum. Meanwhile, speaking to the media, the foreign Spanish delegation said they had come to celebrate the New Year 2026 at Moen Jo Daro.
They said, “We had a wish to come to Pakistan and celebrate the New Year at Moen Jo Daro, which has now been fulfilled.” They further said that the planning of the ancient long walls and streets built by the people of the site is remarkable. The people five thousand years ago laid the foundation of a great civilization with great skill, which is nothing short of amazing.
They added that during the observation, the early development phase of the ancient site is nothing short of astonishing. They said that in the ancient world, there were few people who laid the foundations of civilizations with great wisdom.
They said that Moen Jo Daro is the best example of a civilized era. The people here today are loving. We will inform others in Spain about such information. Local guide Irshad Ali Solangi of Sindh Tourism gave a briefing to the foreign delegation about Moen Jo Daro, Curator Ehsan Abbasi welcomed the foreign delegation. Meanwhile, strict security was in place for the foreign delegation.
