SP Saddar Zone sets crime priorities, orders crackdown on illegal arms, POs
ISLAMABAD, Aug 20 (APP):Senior Superintendent of Police (SP) Saddar Zone Kazim Naqvi chaired a meeting of SHOs, moharrars and investigation officers of Golra Circle to review the crime situation, progress of investigations and cases currently under investigation.
An ICT Police official told APP on Thursday that the meeting reviewed the performance of police stations and progress made in pending cases, with particular focus on improving investigations and bringing cases to their logical conclusion at the earliest.
SP Kazim Naqvi directed officers to intensify action against illegal weapons, display of arms and aerial firing under Islamabad Police’s “No To Weapon” campaign.
He also ordered effective operations for the arrest of proclaimed offenders and directed investigation officers to ensure early disposal of pending cases through professional investigation and available evidence.
The SP stressed that sustained action against criminal elements and effective investigation were essential for maintaining law and order and protecting the lives and property of citizens.
