MULTAN, Feb 01 (APP):Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has intensified its crackdown against gas theft, illegal use and technical violations, disconnecting four meters during enforcement operations in different areas of the city.
According to SNGPL spokesperson, the UFG Control Task Force inspected 60 locations, removed two meters installed upside down and disconnected three meters for illegal use of compressors.
Officials said the operation aimed to curb gas theft, improve gas pressure and ensure uninterrupted gas supply, adding that illegal practices pose serious safety risks.
The General Manager SNGPL Multan said strict action against violators would continue to ensure safe and reliable gas supply to consumers.
