SNGPL disconnects 21 gas connections over illegal compressor use

MULTAN, Oct 25 (APP):Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has disconnected 21 Sui gas connections during ongoing drive against illegal compressors.
According to SNGPL official sources, the campaign against illegal usage of compressors and giving illegal extension was underway across the region.
The taskforce was raiding on daily basis at various places across the region to ensure gas supply to domestic consumers, under the directions General Manager SNGPL Rashid Ishaq.
The teams removed 10 connections in Multan, one in Shujabad, two in Khanewal, four connections were removed from Mian Channu.
Likewise, four gas meters were removed from DG Khan area over giving illegal extension.
Rashid Ishaq said that the drive would continue till complete elimination of illegal compressors so that the required gas pressure could be provided to citizens.
